With over 40 years in IT and more than 25 years in Digital Analytics, Holger Tempel’s professional journey has been guided by a deep commitment to transforming data into clarity, insight, and customer value — long before “digital transformation” became a buzzword.
He is currently a Partner at e-CENS, advising global clients on digital analytics architecture, data governance, and customer experience optimization. As Founder and Managing Director of e-CENS GmbH (Germany), he leads initiatives focused on data-driven growth, AI business cases, and privacy-compliant measurement frameworks. He also delivers specialized training programs that help organizations elevate their digital maturity and unlock measurable business impact.
From March 2024 to December 2025, Holger served as Global Director Digital Customer Experience at Solenis, where he built and led a globally distributed CX team spanning Europe and Latin America. His leadership covered all major pillars of digital excellence — including content strategy, SEO, analytics, UX/UI design, user acceptance testing (UAT), and Voice of the Customer (VoC). Under his direction, the company’s Unified Experience strategy was developed and launched, along with scalable analytics and testing frameworks, the Digital Café knowledge-sharing series, and governance processes that aligned marketing, IT, and commercial functions.
Between August 2022 and February 2024, he supported Diversey in the development of its Digital Maturity Model and successfully implemented a Digital Measurement Framework for more than 150 websites worldwide — creating a standardized foundation for analytics and optimization across regions.
Earlier, Holger founded and continues to lead webalytics GmbH, established in 1991, to help organizations turn data into strategic assets. As one of the first certified Urchin Software partners in Europe (predecessor to Google Analytics), he has been shaping the analytics landscape since 2002 — long before the Google Analytics brand even existed.
He is also Co-Founder of Creative Valley GmbH and Datamart Germany GmbH, focusing on digital innovation, creative strategy, and enterprise-level data integration. In addition, Holger co-founded the Digital Analytics Association (DAA) Germany e.V., where he continues to advocate for analytics excellence and professional education within the industry.
